Near the Mombasa Municipal Stadium, the 3-star Panorama Gardens Hotel’s orange facade makes a striking landmark.
The hotel is nestled between the centre of the town and Moi International Airport; airport transfers can be arranged. The rooftop bar is an attractive place from which to watch the sunset.
There are 50 en-suite rooms made up of singles, doubles and twins. The rooms on the 1st floor are painted terracotta orange, and the rooms on the 2nd floor are painted lime green.
All rooms comprise of a TV with local channels, fan and mosquito net. Some have air conditioning and a few are equipped with a fridge.
The restaurant serves a predominantly Kenyan menu with a few international dishes including; samosas, biriani, grilled tilapia and pepper steak as well as a selection of stews and curries with Ugali or rice.
The bar in the corner of the restaurant stocks soft drinks, beers and a few spirits. There is also a terrace, outside the restaurant where guests can choose to eat.
There are 2 conference rooms, one seating 30 pax and the other seating 50. The rooms are equipped with PA system and projector. The rooftop bar has views over Mombasa town, and shows international sports matches on a large screen.
